Young Israel of Brookline
INDOOR Young Israel is on Green Street which is directly across from the Coolidge Corner Theater.
There is 2 hour street parking along Green Street with no meters. When facing the building, go to the main entrance. To enter the building use the door code 2446#. There are two places to enter codes, the one you're looking for is actually right next to the left most front door, the buttons are flesh with the wall and not raised like the buttons used to call the office. Please keep this code private, and only pass along to your caregivers. The door code only works until 20min after the class has started. If the code doesn’t work, please buzz the office to enter. Once you enter the building, the classroom is in the large hall straight ahead. Please note, there is no food or drink (besides water) allowed onsite at Young Israel. Hand sanitizing and washing is required when entering and leaving the building. PROTOCOL: Masks are encouraged. Purell and disinfecting wipes will be available. OUTDOOR Green Street is directly across from the Coolidge Corner Theater.
There is 2 hour street parking along Green Street with no meters. When facing the building there is a walkway on the right side of the building. Follow that walkway and enter the fenced yard through the gate. The gate will be propped open before class but automatically locks when closed. Access to the building for caregivers is only granted for use of the restroom. Hand sanitizing and washing is required when entering and leaving the building. IN CASE OF RAIN DURING CLASS: If it begins to rain once classes have begun, the teacher will talk to the parents to choose a date to reschedule or choose a makeup class at another outdoors location. IN CASE OF RAIN BEFORE CLASS: If it is clear that it will be raining during class, we will notify families the day before class and the day of class at 8am to confirm if class will be held on Zoom at the designated class time and that families can tune in. Families will be sent the video of class as well. WHAT TO BRING: Please bring a mat or blanket to sit on, and a favorite stuffed animal or blankie for lullaby time. PROTOCOL: Masks not required for outdoor classes. Purell and disinfecting wipes will be available.
