About
Youth ages 11-14 are invited to come and learn about urban farming, sustainable building, land stewardship, water conservation, and farm to table dining at our beautiful location at Hawk Creek Farm. By supporting the completion of special projects and daily farm care, youth gain direct experience acting as land stewards. Daily activities include farm care, composting, animal care, teacher guided exploration on a topic of their choosing, and the creation of special projects that help the farm! There will also be plenty of time for relaxing and socializing.
The program runs from 10am-3pm daily Monday to Friday.
Early drop off is available. Email camp@goldenbridgesschool.org for more info.
What to bring:
Your child's days will be active! Please remind your child to bring enough food to get them through a physically active day outdoors and to dress in layers that offer protection from sunny and/or foggy conditions.
While we will not inhibit youth from having cell phones, we will ask for phones to be put away in a back pack during program hours. Break times are designed to promote self care, reflection, and social interactions so phone should be stored during those times as well.
