About

*This class skips November th for Thanksgiving*

This six week class explores working with clay with intricate and delicate techniques to create jewelry/wearables and delicate woven forms. The class will begin with simple jewelry techniques such as beads and rings, and progress into more difficult woven and linked shapes. This class will rely heavily on extruding forms, simple press molds, and slabs. Through out the class the instructor will also present techniques for "staging" delicate work in the kiln, and how to build kiln armatures to ensure pieces survive as they dry and as they are fired.

Geli will teach this class and comes from a background in making chain mail and rope tying.

Participants will get 25 lbs with this class and studio use.

We do not refund cancelation less than 24 hours before the class starts. This class does not offer make-ups for missed classes.
