Illustration on clay: learn various techniques of carving, painting, and drawing on clay with an emphasis on storytelling and generating imagery for 3d forms and tiles. This is a two hour workshop led by Haylie using techniques they use in their own practice. ***Please come with your own drawings to translate into the clay material.

This class comes with leather hard slabs of clay, tools, and underglaze. Pieces will be glazed with the direction of Haylie afterwards and available for pick up two weeks after the class.

Please note that sometimes there is warping and cracking of clay slabs during the firing process because they have "memory." We can not guarantee your slabs will be flay and un-cracked.
