Welcome to Camp Footsteps Adventurers
Footsteps Child Care, in partnership with the City of Belmont Parks and Recreation, will once again offer eight weeks of summer camp designed specifically for older children and youth entering fourth grade through middle school.
Each day there is something new to do, learn and explore, camp is sure to be a fun adventure!
Monday is “Welcome Day” where team building activities are explored. Tuesdays include a morning hike and recreational swim at local pools in the afternoon. Wednesdays are field trip days, with exciting field trips older children and youth love! Thursdays include hands-on STEAM projects in the morning with an afternoon trip to the Belmont Library and recreational swim. Fridays include a special event, community service project, or a trip to Camp Footsteps for our Counselors-In-Training program.
Wednesday Field Trip: San Francisco Presidio National Park Hike & Overnight Camping Trip.
We will spend the day hiking around the Presidio and surrounding areas. Our optional overnight camping trip will happen at Rob Hill Campground in the Presidio. Parents are welcome to attend as chaperones. Any children who choose to not spend the night will return to Barrett around 4 PM. Overnight trip includes dinner and breakfast the following morning. A separate letter about this trip will be sent out when we get closer to the start of camp.
5% SIBLING DISCOUNT
A 5% discount is automatically applied when you enroll 2 or more children in same week of camp. This discount is applied as 10% off the second and any additional children.
If you enroll two children in different camps for the same week, you must email to request the discount. This will be applied as a refund for 5% off the total tuition. If you selected the installment option, the discount will be applied to a future payment.
If you have a sibling attending one of our preschool programs, please email to have your discount applied.
Discounts will only apply to the base tuition charge; extras will not be included.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Before May 1 - All Camps Fully refundable
After May 1 - Weeks 1-3 non-refundable
After May 15 - Weeks 1-6 non-refundable
After June 1 - All camps non-refundable
TRANSFERS
Transfer requests can be made at any time and will be granted subject to availability.
Transferring a camp that is non-refundable will not reset the cancellation date.
To cancel or modify your enrollment, please reply to your confirmation email, changes cannot be made online.
