***This course is ONLY for Grades 3-5***

Knitting is back and the possibilities are endless. Students will
learn basic skills associated with this creative fiber craft: casting
on, knit stitch, identifying and correcting mistakes, and casting
off. In addition, students will be exposed to and learn how to
identify different fibers and how to read the language of knitting in
patterns. Practice projects will be based on skills acquired in
class. No previous experience is required, but anyone who has
some experience is welcome to improve on those skills. Students
are encouraged and expected to knit at home between classes.
More knitting means more project options. Students will be given
yarn and needles around the 2nd session. Once supplies are
distributed, Students need to bring them to every class session.
