Spring Semester (Mid March-May)
This class is for adults who already have a basic understanding of drawing techniques such as shading and perspective. Students learn to use the elements and principles of art and various compositional rules and techniques to create full, functional, and stylish drawings.
This class will expand upon basic knowledge of the different mediums used in drawing such as charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, and pastel. Students may choose which medium to use as well as the subjects of their drawings.
This is an intermediate class. Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!
Materials are not provided for this class.
Recommended Supplies:
- 9X12 Drawing Pad
- Toned Paper Pad Gray 9x12 (for colored pencil and pastel)
- Vine Charcoal
- Charcoal Pencil: White, Generals are recommended.
- Kneaded Eraser
- Graphite Pencil Set
- Colored pencils (Prismacolor recommended)
- Oil Pastel set
- Soft Chalk Pastel set
- Black Fine Tip Ink Pens, Microns are recommended
