Spring Semester (Mid March-May)

This class is for adults wanting to build on the fundamentals of color theory, drawing, and techniques used to create portraits. This class teaches basics of drawing and painting while learning the features and proportions of the face.

This class will explore creating portraits in different mediums such as watercolor, pastels, and various other drawing mediums. Students will also experiment with creating a portrait using several different mediums together in one piece.

Through the guidance of the instructor students are encouraged to develop their own style and ideas while learning the elements and principles of design as well as exploring the painting techniques and lessons specific to drawing.
