Winter Semester (January-Mid March)
This class is for students wanting to build on the basics in painting with watercolor. Students learn to use elements and principles of design to create full, functional, and stylish compositions. This semester will focus on the botanical subjects and landscapes.
Through the step by step guidance of an instructor students are encouraged to develop their own style and ideas while exploring techniques used with painting in watercolor.

*Arches Cold Press Watercolor paper 9x12
*Watercolor paints:
Yellow Ochre, Ultramarine Blue, Thalo Blue, Cadmium Yellow Light, Payne's Gray, Vandyke Brown, Alizarin Crimson, Sap Green, Cadmium Red, Burnt Sienna
*Molotow Masking Fluid Pen
*Palette with lid ( Mijello is great)
*Plexiglass sheet (can be found at Home Depot 11x14)
*Brushes
