I have worked in a multitude of fields over the years. I have worked for more than 60 hours a week every summer as a nanny or camp counselor throughout high school, cleaned houses in college, spent several years working in elder care and have had the opportunity to work as an I have been an executive administrator in most recentyears.
All of my jobs have had a similar focus, I care for others. Even as an executive administrator, instead of caring for toddlers, I cared for CEO's.
I love having the opportunity to care for others and have found that I have a natural disposition for such a position. Additionally, I am a new wife and mother and I think the same level of care and attention should be given to your family as I would give to my own!
Additionally, I am really passionate about cooking! I can cook everything from meatloaf to tofu, in most any style you're interested in. While I worked in elder care, I gained a lot of knowledge about nutrition and food preparation, in order to meet the variety of client's needs that I might come in contact with, on a daily basis. I also think that natural and organic foods are of great importance; and not just for maintaining the health of our families, but also for maintaining our environment. So, should your children come to my home, you can be assured they'll be fed nutritious (and delicious) food.
I was also a top-notch student and self-taught myself through college level French, find accounting fascinating and was raised with a true love of words. If your children are in need of tutoring or just general homework help, I could be of real value! I even worked part time as a tutor in high school and college!
Furthermore, I take great pride in cleanliness! Homes and children deserve to be well cared for and the easiest thing we can do is keep them clean (I'm also a true laundry professional and really do enjoy doing it.).
My husband is a beginning a career as an optometrist this fall and my daughter turns a year old in October. We are an extremely educated, Christian, healthy and loving family. I would be happy to provide a background check and references, and you can feel safe knowing that my spouse recently passed his FBI background check for a medical license.
I will warn you that if you need day time help, I would need to have my little girl with me, but she is extremely sweet and is excited to play with other children, as she is an only child, otherwise, my schedule is pretty open and I would be happy to accommodate you and your family's needs. ... show more
