It’s a boy for Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott! The family of seven is overjoyed by the arrival of their littlest addition.
“We are so excited to announce the birth of the newest member of the McDermott family! Please join us in welcoming Beau Dean McDermott,” Spelling wrote on Twitter.
Beau was born on March 2 and weighed 5 pounds, 12 ounces, according to People magazine.
“We are over the moon in love with baby Beau. He is a true blessing and his brothers and sisters were overjoyed to meet him! We are all truly grateful for our big beautiful and healthy family,” Spelling told People.
In December, Spelling and her husband, Dean McDermott, announced to E! News that they were having another boy, and the 43-year-old mom looked absolutely fabulous throughout her recent pregnancy.
“It was a total surprise,” Spelling told People in October. “But we always wanted a big family. I’m really excited.”
The pregnancy was smooth sailing for Spelling, who suffered from placenta previa while pregnant with her now 4 ½-year-old son, Finn, according to People. Placenta previa is a condition in which the placenta blocks the cervix.
“This baby happened at the best time,” she said to People. “Nothing is ever perfect, but I’m so madly in love with my husband and with our kids. The idea of adding to that is such a blessing.”
