In a recent public appearance, Michael Bublé’s wife Luisana Lopilato revealed positive news about their 3-year-old son’s battle with cancer.
While promoting her new movie, “Those Who Love, Hate,” in Argentina, the actress and model told a crowd that the couple’s son, Noah, is cancer-free after undergoing successful treatments at a Los Angeles hospital.
“Thank God, my son is well. When things like those that happened to us occur, your take on life changes,” she said at a press conference, according to E! Online. “It happened to us. Now I value life much more, the now and the today. I would like to thank people for their support, for the prayers they said, for their love, and I want them to know that they reached us and that it helped us a lot to come through this.”
The famous Hollywood duo, also parents to 1-year-old Elias, decided to take a step back from their careers after announcing Noah was diagnosed with cancer last November.
The journey has been hard on the tight-knit family of four, but they said they’re grateful for the show of support from doctors, friends, relatives and fans around the world.
“We don’t have words to express our gratitude to the doctors and caregivers. We would like to thank the thousands of people who have sent us their prayers and good wishes,” the couple said in a joint statement earlier this year. “As long as we continue on this path, we are greatly comforted by your love and support.”
