Banana-Berry Overnight Oats

You might’ve already picked up on this, but “Overnight Oats” are making a serious comeback in the world of breakfast foods.

Why? Because they’re super easy to make AND they’re delicious! If you want to save yourself some time in the morning, take 5 minutes the night before to throw these ingredients together, pop them in the fridge – and voila!– a yummy breakfast is ready and waiting.

For this particular recipe, we combined two great fruits, almonds, chia seeds and oats for an extremely easy breakfast that kids are bound to enjoy.

And it’s delicious!

Banana-Berry Overnight Oats Recipe

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes + overnight

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Old Fashioned Quaker® Oats
  • 1/2 cup low-fat milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds (optional)
  • ½ tablespoon honey, drizzled

Directions:

  • Add oats, milk and vanilla to a small container.
  • Layer blueberries, banana slices and sliced almonds on top.
  • Finish with chia seeds and a drizzle of honey, then place in fridge and enjoy in the morning (or at least six hours later)!
