Nearly five hundred animals found new homes at North Shore Animal League America’s annual 36-hour Adoptathon in early May.

The event, part of the Global Pet Adoptathon program was held on May 6th and 7th. Adopters got to choose from hundreds of dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. The first one hundred approved adoptions were free thanks to the vent’s sponsor, Purina.

Camren Bicondova, who plays the teenage version of Catwoman on the FOX television show, Gotham, declared the event open. Camren is big supporter of North Shore Animal League America and an adopter herself. If you want to support North Shore Animal League, click here to donate.
