Michael Bublé’s 3-Year-Old ‘Doing Very Well’ After Cancer Treatment

Famous singer Michael Bublé understandably asked for privacy last year when the world found out his son was diagnosed with liver cancer. Fighting a disease is hard enough without the additional pressures of being a celebrity.

The family now has some good news to share about 3-year-old Noah’s battle. The singer’s brother-in-law, who says he has a special bond with his nephew, spoke out to say his nephew has handled treatment as well as can be expected.

“After these very long months, Noah is doing well, very well,” said Darío Lopilato, the brother of Bublé’s wife, Luisana Lopilato.

He told La Nacion: “For me it’s very difficult to talk about it. But I believe in God and sought comfort in Jesus Christ and a miracle from God came, from the way it was discovered, after the operation, everything.”

Noah’s uncle is an actor but travels to Los Angeles often to be with his sister and her children.

“Since I still do not have children, I [travel] a lot with my nephews,” he said. “I feel it’s important to carry on accompanying. That’s why I stop what I’m doing here every so often and travel there.”

Family is paramount for the Bublé-Lopilato family.

“When you look at the big picture, and someone has a serious problem, everything else seems less important,” Darío Lopilato said. “The important thing is that we’re together and we’re living through this as a family.”

Bublé announced his son’s diagnosis via a statement last November that the couple shared on her Facebook page

“We are devastated by the recent cancer diagnosis of our eldest son Noah who is currently in treatment in the United States. We’ve always talked a lot about the importance of the family and the love we have for our children,” the singer wrote.

The couple suspended their professional responsibilities and lives to focus on Noah’s health.

“We have a long road ahead of us,” Bublé shared. “We hope that with the support of our family, friends, fans around the world and our faith in God, we can win this battle.”
