How to Make a Spiderman Costume

Alert the newspaper, a masked vigilante is swinging through your town! You and your little super hero are sure to love this fun and easy costume.

Materials:

  • Red long-sleeved T-shirt
  • Blue sweatpants or leggings
  • Red socks (slipper socks are preferable)
  • Red ski mask
  • Spiderman logo printout
  • Black permanent marker or fabric marker
  • Swiffer cloth
  • Double sided tape
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue
  • Two pieces of 5-inch wide tin foil.

Step 1: Print out Spiderman logo and attach to sweatshirt with double sided tape or hot glue.

Step 2: Draw spider webs on the chest, arms and back of the red sweatshirt using the fabric marker and do the same to the socks.

Step 3: Draw thick black lines around the eye holes of the ski hat. Cut one Swiffer cloth in half. Turn hat inside out and glue Swiffer pieces over eye holes. Make small openings for human eyes to see and collect candy!

Step 4: Dress your child in the sweatshirt and sweatpants, tucking the sweatpants into the red socks, add the ski mask and gloves and he is ready to save the day! (Silly string, a yoyo, or a ball of yarn can be used for his famous spider webs.)
