11. Framed silhouettes

@miniandmine

You know I couldn’t go a whole holiday without posting something completely unrelated to mini + mine 🤪 But had to share these DIY gifts we’re doing this year! And yes I made a second set for myself because I’m obsessed! Here’s how to do it: 1. Take a photo of your child’s profile. Up against a white wall is great but not necessary. We may or may not have used the TV as a bribe 🙃 2. Print the photos on cardstock paper. I always print at a local office supply store like Office Depot, Staples, etc. I printed them on full size (8.5×11) paper and used 8×10 frames, but obviously adjust to the size you want! 3. Cut out your child’s profile. The beauty’s in the details so take your time! I used an exacto knife to get the little details that I didn’t want to miss (I haddd to make sure to get their little curls 🥹) 4. Flip it over so just the white side is showing and paint it black! 5. Secure to a background (I did white for gifting and fun printed fabric to keep!). I just used double sided tape for this! And put into a frame-the ones in the video are $5 from Target! 6. You’re done! A perfect, affordable, and super sweet art piece to keep or to gift ❤️ #diygift #diygiftideas #homemade #homemadegift #grandparentgift #grandparentsgifts #DIY #giftidea
