Even during playtime tradition wins out in the home of 4-year-old Korra Lam, a Vietnamese-American girl who lives in California.
Pictures of her doll house were shared all over Twitter after she made sure to remove all her dolls shoes and line them near the front of the Dream House before letting the Barbies in to play.
Korra’s half-sister Ivy Ho posted the photos to Twitter.
She told the Huffington Post that Korra’s dolls simply follow the same rules that their family lives by. Just as the dolls can’t wear shoes in their home, when they leave the Dream House, Korra is always sure to put their shoes on first.
After all, the dolls “have to be clean,” Ho said.
