What should I pack for my au pair stay?
As going abroad for a year is a really big deal, it can be overwhelming trying to think about everything you need for the journey and stay. To help out, we’ve put together a useful au pair packing list. For hand luggage, we recommend taking a backpack as it can be used abroad for sports activities and excursions. So, let’s get packed!
What should go in the hand luggage

- Flight ticket, visa if applicable, other travel documents

- Proof of insurance, emergency numbers, host family address
- Copies of all important documents: passport, medical certificates, driver’s license, qualifications, etc.

What should go in the suitcase
