Care.com’s Royal Nursery Pin-a-thon

Do you “Pin”? Well if you haven’t started using Pinterest yet, we’re giving you a royal reason to!

Starting 6 August 2013, Care.com is welcoming William and Kate’s Prince George of Cambridge by launching a royally inspired contest on Pinterest — and you’re invited. Gather your nappy bag and baby room ideas, because we’re looking for a nursery fit for a prince or princess!

To enter, create a board, title it “Royal Nursery Pin-a-thon,” and add a description of your nursery to the board.

Then start pinning! Include everything you think should be in a royal nursery — from fantasy items like crystal chandeliers and satin pillows to practical items like changing tables and cribs. For a little inspiration, check out our sample board.

Make sure your board contains hashtags #Caredotcom and #RoyalNursery and at least 10 pins.

When your board is perfect, share it with us by posting a comment with a link to your board on the original contest announcement pin, located on our royal nursery board.

The best board will win a £100 gift certificate, and who knows, maybe you’ll even inspire the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge?

Make sure you follow these rules to be eligible:

  • You must follow Careatcare on Pinterest to enter.
  • Contest begins at 12pm GMT on the 6 August 2013 and ends at 12pm GMT on the 31 August 2013.
  • You must include at least 10 pins on your board.
  • Each pin must include the hashtags #Caredotcom and #RoyalNursery.
  • Post a comment on our original contest announcement pin with a link to your board.
  • Only one entry board per person.
  • Boards will be judged on uniqueness, creativity, regal flare and adherence to the guidelines.
  • A winner will be selected by an independent panel of judges and announced 9 September 2013.

We can’t wait to see the creative, crafty royal nursery inspiration you share with us and the Pinterest community!
