Greg Heffley is the main character from the book series “Diary of a Wimpy Kid.” He’s pretty much your average school-age kid, who loves playing video game and avoiding doing homework. To young readers, Greg feels like a real hero. If your son is one of them, he may want to dress as Greg for Halloween. So follow those steps to make the costume yourself, and have a happy bookish Halloween.
Materials:
- Hair gel
- White T-shirt
- Black shorts
- Calf-high white socks
- Black sneakers
- Black backpack
- Comic books (optional)
- “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” book.
Step 1: Gel hair to make three thick strands that stick up at crown of head.
Step 2: Put on outfit: T-shirt, shorts, socks and sneakers (put black long johns under the shorts if it’s a cold night).
Step 3: Fill backpack with comic books (optional). Put backpack over one shoulder.
Step 4: Carry “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” book in opposite hand as backpack.
