Christina El Moussa is at the center of controversy over an Instagram post — and it’s not about her split from husband and “Flip or Flop” costar, Tarek.
El Moussa shared a photo welcoming a new dog to the family. She is shown posing in a bikini with her daughter, Taylor, who is smiling with a doughnut in hand.
Many of the thousands of comments cooed at how cute the duo looked and the adorableness of the French bulldog puppy named Cashie.
But other followers apparently didn’t feel the same way, calling the post showing Taylor in a matching bikini “inappropriate” and “sick.”
The majority of commenters stood up for El Moussa, saying there was nothing wrong with the photo and calling the critics haters.
“So as a mom, you’re not allowed to be in shape and love your body? Do people expect her to wear sweats all day and be overweight? Forget that. They are just haters. You can be a mom and still be fit and healthy, and proud of your body. And I think that’s a great lesson to teach your children,” one fan commented.
Days later, El Moussa took heat for a picture she posted that showed children playing in a pool, with her pajama-clad, 19-month-old son, Brayden, watching nearby. A comment on how close Brayden was to the pool prompted El Moussa to write back to defend herself, and once again, fans came to her rescue!
And she isn’t the only celebrity who has received backlash over photos with their children. Victoria Beckham and Hilary Duff were criticized for posting pictures that showed them kissing their children on the lips.
