Love the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” Series? Here’s How to Make a “Greg” Costume!

“Greg Heffley” is the hero of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. He has “unreliable friends” and loves playing video games and making comics. Although he’s always making excuses, he’s the lovable outcast you root for. Most of all, kids love this book series, and if your child is a fan, he might want to dress as “Greg” for Halloween. Here’s how to make the costume yourself.

Materials:

  • Hair gel
  • White T-shirt
  • Black shorts
  • Calf high white socks
  • Black sneakers
  • Black backpack
  • Comic books (optional)
  • “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” book.

Step 1: Gel hair to make three thick strands that stick up at crown of head.

Step 2: Put on outfit: T-shirt, shorts, socks and sneakers (put black long johns under the shorts if it’s a cold night).

Step 3: Fill backpack with comic books (optional). Put backpack over one shoulder.

Step 4: Carry “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” book in opposite hand as backpack.
