Green Smoothie Recipe by Ron

Green Smoothie Recipe by Ron

One of my office pod-mates was an influential health nut.  Elizabeth (ET) ran frequently and was a dedicated CrossFitter.  On top of that she took multi-level marketing zeal to her consumption of Shakeology every morning, however, what she truly longed for was a VitaMix.  At $499 base model prices, I wasn’t jumping at the bit.  However, in the midst of my lifestyle changes, the blender moved into consideration range.  4 years later, I’ve been a religious blender, and I’ve settled on 1 routine.  I don’t bother with nut butters, soups and sauces.  Here it is and what’s more, my son drank this every morning starting when he was 11.  Talk about a healthy kid and I hope you do the same for your children.  Modify for allergies.

I am considering the addition of some traditional Chinese medicine ingredients thanks to my friend Jie:

Lotus Seed

White Fungus

Huang Qi (Astragalus)

Barley

Chrysanthemum

Packed with greens and herbs and laying out the liquids.
