This year marks a decade that Figment NYC has produced this artist-themed and designed mini-golf course for the visitors of Governor’s Island. The island is 172 acres and is accessible daily by ferry, just steps away from Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan.

This year’s mini-golf theme is “New York Has the Beat” and focuses on sounds of the city. A different artist created concepts for each of the nine holes, including Hole 5 Feelin Groovy, where golfers putt across a xylophone, and Hole 6 Chiming in with Chamber Music, that chimes classical masterpieces from Mozart to Bach to Gershwin. The course is open to the public and free at all times.
