To get you started, here are 18 fun and patriotic activities for seniors of all ability levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Enjoy fireworks from the comfort of home<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWatching streamed fireworks shows, such as Macy\u2019s 4th of July Fireworks or \u2018A Capitol Fourth\u2019 will allow the tradition to continue without COVID concerns, extreme noise stimulation, or unnecessary movement,\u201d suggests Glenn Lane, president of Westchester Family Care<\/a> in New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Suzanne Blankenship, an eldercare expert and author of \u201cHow To Take Care of Old People Without Losing Your Marbles<\/a>,\u201d agrees that fireworks can be a great bet. \u201cIf an older loved one has no cognitive impairment, then attending a fireworks display is a good outing for the family.
