Little Sprouts of Levittown was born through the belief that early childcare should be an enriching environment for our young ones, and a place that children can grow through learning. Our Owner and Director, Sulay Vishnupad, is a mother of two and a state certified in Early Childhood and Elementary Education Teacher with a Master's degree in both General and Special Education, as well as CPR and First Aid trained.
We understand the expectations children face as they enter kindergarten and first grade, and Little Sprouts of Levittown is here to help prepare them. School budgets decrease, yet, the academic expectations increase. As a result, our children struggle and parents turn to tutors for help. We believe that if a child is given a solid foundation and strategies early on, they will be in the best position possible to succeed throughout their academic journey. Little Sprouts of Levittown is an intimate environment that your child can receive the high quality care, and learning experiences (s)he deserves.
Educational Philosophy
Mrs. V, has extensive teaching experience working in the Levittown, Great Neck, Syosset, and Elmont school districts. It is through these years of classroom experience that she has created her philosophy of education. She believes that when children are introduced to a variety of learning tools, the experience becomes more meaningful and memorable. This strategy establishes not only a fun and engaging learning environment, but an effective one as well. It's a matter of how we learn, rather than what we learn that becomes the key to academic success.
