I worked as a middle school teacher for the past 5 years in IPSD204. Prior to that I spent about 7 years working in daycare. After having two children of my own I have decided to provide childcare out of my home. This was a tough decision to make as I love teaching, but it is very hard to find affordable, quality childcare. I strive to provide the care that I wanted, but was unable to find for my children. As a teacher I have different daily activities planned and will provide individualized learning experiences for the children in my care. I will treat every child as my own and provide structured schedule with rotating activities so the children are not bored. I also provide natural/healthy meals and snacks. To make sure that the children in my care are indeed receiving the best care, I keep my numbers very low.
