Told Kassandra Williams that I had to take a medical emergency leave of absense and she blocked my phone number and hasn't paid me for about a month of pay. When I started I was to be making $16 per hour and only paid me $14. Also when I asked about why i wasn't paid the $16 they had told us that everyone gets paid differently for the same jobs and also said that we were only getting paid on the time we're scheduled to work even if we end up working different times and/or going over time scheduled. Held back two weeks of my pay to "put me on payroll," but when i finally got my first check after having to put $20-$25 of gas a day to get to work I didn't have any taxes taken out plus I didn't have the correct amount of hours on either of the two paychecks and on the second one it didn't show what hours that I worked or anything. When I told them about taking my emergency leave and that I would be back they blocked my phone number and didn't tell me that they were firing me. They had me driving places on my day off for work and never paid me for doing any of it. They also BLOCKED MY PHONE NUMBER another co-worker's number and didn't tell her that they were firing her and haven't paid her either. Even though when I worked there they mentioned someone in the office but turns out the office that they list is really the same address as the ups store and is not even a P.O. box. This company cleans 5 Star properties in La Quinta in PGA West, La Quinta Cove, Palm Desert, Cathedral City, Palm Springs, Bermuda Dunes, and Indio. They work with a company called 5 Star that is property management. This is the worst job I have ever had and I've never had this bad of an experience working or even heard of anyone going through this. They are posting jobs on websites like Indeed.com luring people even telling them they'll give them a $300 bonus for joining their "team". Since this happened I've now heard of more people having same issue.
