This place...straight up trash, asked for a very specific cut on my Yorky puppies, they showed me a picture of what I asked for and I agreed it was exactly what I wanted and then six hours later they tell me to come pick up my dogs, I walk into loud heavy metal music blasting, I folks with wild hair and tattoos laughing and explaining that they're sorry and that the groomer "got into a zone". (Does that mean he was high and blanked out?) I was pertified, I thought they killed my babies the way they kept repeating how he got into a zone. I asked them where my two babies OK. They finally brought them both out. I didn't even recognize my 4 month old Amina...Who I asked for a teddy bear cut, with boots. They gave her a pitbull buzz cutt... bald. And they did nothing to my 7 month old. He looked exactly the same. Neither of their nails were trimmed, they smell asif they didn't get a bath. Their teeth weren't brushed. And they appeared traumatized when I picked them up. I have been taking my seven-month-old to a groomer across town monthly and decided to try this place because it was closer to my house.

I cried all the way home, my heart what is broken. And I apologized to my babies all night. They were both emotionally disturbed and I have never seen them so distressed. I don't know what happened to them at that place.

There is absolutely nothing Yuppy about the Yuppie Puppy. They are unprofessional, have zero accountability, and should be shut down. They need to change the name to "Trailer Park Trims".

Please do not use Yuppie Puppy for boarding! Also, please read more than the reviews and testimonials on their website because I now believe those are completely false.

During the time my dog was there he did not eat any of his food and instead of them calling to let me know...I didn't find out until he was picked up. We weighed him at home and he's normally 12 lbs, now he's 10.5 lbs. When he was picked up, they gave my husband the wrong dog and when our dog was finally brought out he was covered in urine and fecal matter. We gave him a bath before bringing him for boarding and got him back with yellow stains under his belly and on back legs with fecal matter matted on his butt! I'm not even sure he was taken outside for the three walks they advertised. Once we got our dog home, we gave a good bath but were unable to get the urine color out of his fur. If you want your dog to be properly cared for, please use another boarding place because Yuppie Puppy is not for your pet at all.

I wish I could rate this with negative stars!! I took her in to get a bath and a cut and they told me she was matted. First of all, she was NOT matted, her hair was tangled. Secondly, they charged me an extra $20 for a "matting fee". And thirdly, their website- total misrepresentation of their place. It's a house, not a business location. If you're planning on shaving her anyway, then how tangled her hair is shouldn't matter... Not to mention one of the women was changing her toddler on the desk as customers were standing in there. They even showed me on another dog what they said they would do (in terms of how close they would cut her). THEY SHAVED HER TO THE SKIN, cut all the hair off of her head- even her whiskers- and didn't clean her ears properly. Anytime I've taken her to be groomed, when they say they will clean her ears, they remove the hairs. Yuckie Puppy did not. If you know me, you know what my dog looks like. This does NOT look like my Zelda Louise. When they brought her out, the first thing my mom said was "That's not Zelda"!!! I am so mad I feel sick. They will absolutely not getting my business again. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but from now on, when it comes to finding a groomer, if I feel the slightest bit of unease, I'm leaving. This was a hundred times worse than PetSmart and I freaking hate them... At least when PetSmart "shaves" her, they leave some fur on her body!!!
