Yours, Mine, & Ours

I offer a judgment free zone for children to learn and grow. My hours are very flexible with limitations to no longer than 10 hours per day. Typically I operate from 7am-7pm Mon-Sat with opportunities for date nights at a separate rate. I am currently only taking children birth to 4 due to having a child in school myself (school pick up at different schools can be a hassle). Our mornings are low key and include breakfast and quite play. We begin an age appropriate "learning circle" at 9:15 am and run until everyone is ready to move to another activity. We complete an art project 3-5 times a week and do attempt at least one picnic and field trip to our local park once a week, weather and temperaments permitting. We then have lunch and quite book time followed by a rest period. Then its up and out to play and experience the outside and enjoy a small afternoon snack. We wind down with approximately an hour to an hour and a half of free play including art and then tv time beginning at 545 or 6pm. I have over ten years experience in birth to 12 centers and was awarded 2010s Johnston county child care teacher of the year before my family relocated to Rome, GA where I began work as a Social Worker for the Floyd County Parent Resource Center. Upon returning and the birth of my son I decided to provide care in our home. I have my associate degree in early childhood education and have superior references. Hope to hear from you soon.
