I am currently enrolling for Fall 2017 for children entering grades K-5 to join my Young Scholars Academy. The program serves families within the Spring Lake Park School District and is a home away from home environment for school age children. I am currently a licensed daycare provider in Blaine. My daycare has been open for 4 years along with having 6 years of teaching experience working as a reading specialist in the Chisago Lakes School District. My educational credentials include a B.A. in SPED K-12 Specific Learning Disabilities and a Master's Degree in teaching and learning.
Beginning this September 2017, I will be offering before and after school care that will include breakfast & afternoon snack, full day programming options, research-based reading and math progress monitoring, tutoring, assistance with homework and supplemental arts & crafts.
