Woodland & Reef Preschool & Daycare

Welcome to Woodland & Reef! We are a nature-immersion based preschool & daycare located near the ATT Ballpark in San Francisco. Our curriculum is based on leading early-education methodologies and pulls inspiration from Waldorf, Reggio Emelia, and Montessori.

At our school, we follow the child, spend a ton of time outdoors, and go on daily adventures where we learn about nature and experience the world. We serve children who are 2 years old through the time they start kindergarten. Our program includes daily adventures, healthy meals & snacks, a robust curriculum, and lots of time outdoors. We offer full-time or part-time care, and do not require that children be potty trained.

Our mission is to help the children in our care develop confidence, creativity, and life skills that prepare them for academic learning as well as for life. Our daily nature immersions foster a love for nature from woodland to reef. This preparation engages critical thinking and reasoning, promotes healthy and helpful habits for a lifetime, and creates and strengthens our bond to the natural world.
