About the business
We had been providing services for our friends' and families' animals for a long time for free. Until recently, we decided to go into business for ourselves. We have had a lot of experience with all different kinds of animals. We are a believer in the power of exercise in behavior problems, and a believer in the power of play and socialization in health. Wonderdogs was a response to the way some of the dog walkers in Seattle conduct their business. We do not think a there is a place for a dog off-leash on the street, we do not think anyone should be cramming 15 dogs into the back of a Toyota pick-up without any seat belts or protective restraint or air conditioning, and we don't think that larger dogs and toys should be handled the same way. We believe in smaller groups and individualized attention. For our private leashed walks, we will only do groups of 3 dogs, for our off-leash romp and runs we will only have groups of 3-6 dogs.
