Wildwood Homestead

Hello! I'm Kristin Mauer. I'm the mother of 3 children - 2 intelligent and kind-hearted daughters ages 14 & 16 and a happy, gentle and easy-going son, age 5. Our home has always been a magnet for kids of all ages. My husband and I are devoted to putting family first and our motto has always been "the more the merrier". In other words, we treat every child who enters our home as one of our own. My husband works full-time outside of the home and I am a stay-at-home mom. I've spent many years "babysitting" off and on for friends and family ever since our daughters were just toddlers. I have a passion for loving people and connecting/encouraging children of all ages to evolve at their own pace. I am a calm, peaceful and artistic care giver who genuinely values freedom of expression. My care centers around indoor and outdoor play with a strong emphasis on creating art, reading, movement, exploration and nature. We have a small homestead where gardening, chicken-keeping, food preservation, art projects, cooking and creativity reign daily. I would love an opportunity to incorporate 1-2 children into our daily lives and activities. Although I am the primary care provider, my oldest daughter will be available to assist with care in the evenings and during the summer months. I have a vast amount of experience volunteering in my children's schools and teaching children in art and yoga in professional settings outside of the home. Our home is safe, clean and comfortable.
