Wilbur Wright College (chicago Public Schools)

Well... I tutor students ranging from 1 to 20 at a time, in basic math, algegra, geomety, and computer software like Microsoft Excel, Powerpoing, and Word. I help young kids of 10-years-old to older adults (as old a 70-years-old with math). I learned more as a tutor than I did as a student. I respected all of my student's ideas and that helped me pass that knowledge to my next student. For example, I observed how each student approached a problem. And now that I know a different way to approach, I could could show the next student how to that way. Just in case my approach doesn't work. I always felt great to help people with understanding, as I've had experiences where I was too shy or embarassed to ask a question. So, I give my students that comfort to ask "100 times I'm not impatient".
