Play is the work of childhood and we're serious about playing around here! At the Whitney Home Day Care, your child will learn to play with others, enhance academic skills and have fun all within a home environment. Our daily schedule includes story time, song time, imaginative play (building forts are always a hit!), simple arts and crafts, outside time (fenced in back yard) and of course, snacks, meals and rest time. I often coordinate activities and projects with holidays, and you'll have plenty of masterpieces to fill up the fridge.
I have been caring for children in my home for over 3 years in addition to extensive experience in childcare, serving both as a family Nanny and an infant Lead Teacher at a local day care. As a mother of two, I have first hand experience with active toddlers and filling the day with fun. I have excellent references which I would be happy to provide upon request. My clearances are up to date and I have been recently CPR and First Aid certified.
