About the business
I am an experienced independent school educator, with 18 years of classroom experience. Bringing a student-centered focus to sessions, I strive to meet each student where they are on a given day.
While English is my love and my area of academic specialty, my favorite tutoring task is the dread college essay. Helping students achieve their most authentic statement as they realize they have a truly unique and worthwhile story is always a highlight of my experience with them.
I am also able to tutor social studies (World and US history) at a non-AP level.
Test prep is given in small group or individually.
All sessions are held at Work-It Coworking. Clients are able to use the mobile workstations to maximize their well-being.
