West Coast Canine Academy is a new canine servicing business (2007), located in Newberg, OR and ran by Jersey.
She is 25, has been training dogs professionally off and on for over 4 years, and has been working with dogs for well over 10 years. She has volunteered and worked at several Humane Societies and animal shelters, working with 'at risk' dogs (those in danger of being euthanized), has saved many dogs from being euthanized, through basic and advanced training, has helped with canine education and held educational canine classes, has extensive knowledge in Service Animal laws, has held/hosted puppy classes and has taught basic and advanced obedience to many dogs in Oregon, California, South Carolina and Texas.
She is a current student at Penn Foster College, where she is enrolled in and an active student in their Veterinarian Technician program. She currently holds a 4.0 GPA. She is also a soon to be student of their dog training (and certification) program and dog grooming course, to further educate herself.

Her experience ranges from pre-dog education, dog psychology, puppy training, adult/senior dog training, dog sitting, dog walking, leash training, trick training, basic grooming, and more.

Ms. Jersey is qualified to perform physical and health examinations on animals, administer shots and medication, train dogs, and do basic dog grooming (nails, bathing, brushing teeth/fur, ear cleaning).

She helps serve the greater Portland and surrounding areas.
