Hello, my name is Kyla Chartrand and I run a daycare out of my home. I am 46 years old, married for almost 23 years and have raised 3 girls. I have 2 girls still at home (a 20 year old in college and a 13 year old in 8th grade at Foothills Fine Arts Academy). After raising my own girls, working in the corporate world for the last 10 years and my love for children, I realized how important it was for me to follow my heart and stay home to watch the children of parents that can't stay home themselves.
Prior to raising my own family (many moons ago, haha) I had worked at a Montessori school and love the values and structure it provided the children from the small age of a few months through early school years. My philosophy with your little ones would be to instill kindness, good manners and respect to their peers and adults alike in a friendly structured and fun playful environment. I will provide your child/ren (if needed depending on hours they will be here) breakfast, 2 snacks (am/pm) and lunch. I will provide juice or milk with breakfast and lunch then water will be available to them at all times. If your child has any specific nutrition needs we can discuss them when we meet. I would prefer the hours to fall between 8am and 6pm but understand and am willing to adjust if needed. I currently watch 3 brothers ( 1, 2 & 3 yrs old) and have had them for almost a year now. Unfortunately the parents hours have changed and they will not need my full time care. In the very near future I will only have one child full time. I have the ability to care for 4 children and feel that due to their young ages it is important to be able to give each child personal care and love. I have a great floor plan in my home that has dedicated areas for them that include a large playroom, nap room, 10 person table so they can eat without other little fingers getting in their way :), a play set in the backyard with a large grassy area to run, a cemented area to ride scooters/bikes and a fenced in pool to get out of the summer heat!!
