Well Rounded Daycare

Hi! My name is Lindsay and I have been teaching art in a K-12 school for the past four years but have recently decided to stay home with our two children. I am offering day care for 3-4 children out of our home Monday-Friday from 7 am to 5 pm. I am accepting children from ages newborn to 3 years of age. Beginning in September I will begin preschool activities with ages 2 and up. I am also CPR certified.
I live in a very established safe neighborhood only about a 1 mile or so from 50 highway which allows for convenient access especially if you work on the Air Force Base . We have a fenced in backyard for outdoor play and even a large sun room for lots of fun activities when it's rainy outside. I will be providing nourishing and healthy breakfasts, snacks, and lunches just as I do every day for my children. As a teacher I love to encourage age appropriate development activities but as a mom I know when we've had too much. At my child care you get the best of both worlds. When my son was newborn I experienced things that I would never expect to happen at an in-home daycare because I was looking for that extra attention and care that does not always happen at a center. I believe it was because of having too many children to care for which is why I will not have any more than 4-5 children at any given time. I am very flexible and easy to work with.
My husband is in the military so having a structured and clean environment is something we strive for but the teacher/mom side of our family knows creativity and love is not always perfect either.
