Hi everyone!
If you are reading this I am hoping i can help you! For starters my name is Katie, I am the mother of 2 year old Aliya (our smart, funny, eager little girl) and wife of wonderful husband Brandon (all star commercial plumber, hunter, and best dad ever of course).
I am looking to open up our home to you and your child(s) as I start my very first at home daycare. Currently i am still going through the licencing process, despite thinking i know everything there is to know (thanks to aliya lynn) about kids, there is always more to learn i am finding out as i begin taking the required classes.
All parents have their standards when it comes to searching for the best fit for you and what you want your child to get out of their daycare provider/over all expiereince in life as a young child. Well as I begin my journey as an at home daycare provider I am putting together a curriculum built to keep a schedule and learn new things, including my favorite, arts and crafts! Along with much more activities for learning and having fun, while socializing with other children.
I am a 25 year old women with a love for kids. We just bought our very first home as a family in the lovely city of Cottage Grove. With a very large fenced in yard and brand new play set. Our home has plenty of space and is perfect for an in home daycare. Also we have another member of the family i must mention, his name is Riley and he is a big friendly 5 year old Black Lab who also is excellent with children!
I am looking to be able to get started by fall 2015. This gives me time to get all of my licensing and background check requirments completed and i am hoping to get to meet some wonderful families who are in need of my services!
