Bachelor of Science in Nursing/ECE combined earned degree RN with 20+ years experience now accepting Fall enrollment for preschool and pre-k, ages 2.5-10, at Wee Wonder Preschool & Childcare, conveniently located in Apple Valley, MN. WWPC is a new opportunity for families as a C2 licensed Group Family Child Care home offering nutritious meals and snacks, in addition to a safe, healthy, warm and inviting atmosphere both in and outdoors, that allows children to develop at their own pace. Children will develop a positive self-image by engaging in a developmentally age-appropriate skill enhanced preschool program focused on areas of intellect such as science and engineering, mathematics, social studies, technology, language and literacy-including second and sign language acquisition, music and movement, sensory and art, dramatic and social-emotional/physical skills. These skills are learned and enhanced through a MN state-approved curriculum that offers a variety of group activities, individual play and quiet periods. The program makes use of many play and learning materials that assist the children in gaining confidence in their abilities to do, achieve and create.
At WWPC, I am parent-friendly, encouraging and embracing parental ideas and comments. As communication is important, meals/snacks are posted daily on the family communication board and a newsletter is provided monthly. Because safety and health are a priority, the property is fully fenced with childproof locked gates, is licensed and participates in a USDA approved Child Food Program. In addition, personal hygiene such as oral health and hand washing is also promoted. WWPC is also conveniently located walking distance to a park and a Community Center!
