Wee Haven

WEE HAVEN is a licensed childcare center and preschool, conveniently located at #1 South Main Street in Charlestown, NH and housed in what was formerly a Colonial home. Each child is accepted as an individual in a warm and receptive environment. Wee Haven is a small center, licensed by the state of NH to provide care & early education for up to 28 children. Staffing ratios and all other policies and procedures exceed the New Hampshire standards for childcare licensing.
Our philosophy is based on the premise that when children feel secure it is easier for them to learn. Early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring, and discovery. Children are naturally creative, curious, and receptive. This program strives to nurture these qualities. Our mission is to create a comfortable, caring, homelike, learning environment, addressing individual learning styles and respecting varying lifestyles. Our goal is to enable each child in our care to grow to their full potential, emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially during the time they share with us.
Wee Haven also offers a before & after school program. We cater to families with children toddler to 10 years. In business at this location, since 1992, we are open from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM weekdays.
