Wee Flowers Childcare is a licensed in-home family childcare based in Hillsboro Oregon. We are located in the well-established Minterbridge neighborhood, within walking distance of Minterbidge Elementary school.
Our indoor space is 100% dedicated to the children. We offer dramatic play, puzzles, art, music and movement, sensory play, large library, quiet space, and much more! We have 1,500 square feet of backyard that includes play structures, water play (a garden to come), green space, and more.
Wee Flowers Childcare philosophy, is the belief in the capability of children, viewing them as active participants in their own growth and development, and the importance of a childcare environment that promotes and inspires learning, provides emotional support, and independence.
Our method is a semi-structured play-based learning technique inspired Reggio approach. We put special consideration into the look and feel of our environment by giving extra thought to how materials are used and displayed; the goal is to create an atmosphere that fosters natural social and learning interactions between children and their environment.
We are currently enrolling kiddos from ages: 6 months to 5 years old. We also have a once a month optional date night childcare on Fridays and an optional half-day Saturday childcare.
