In home daycare. Been in business over twenty years!
Was with my last two families for 10 and 6 years. Have great references. My daycare kids become part of my family.
I am not a preschool. I believe in growth and learning through creative play. We read books, play, cook and have fun. During the summer we are outside every chance we can be. As the summers are short and we want to enjoy what there is of it. I have a nice size yard with a swing set, hockey net and half fenced in. (there is a hill on the other half)
I have a daycare room that we just remodeled with new lighting, new paint and soon to have a chalk wall. There is a tree fort with a slide in there, games, books and lots of toys.
I do ask that parents bring their children's food/drinks as they know what they like and are allergic to.
The children get to go out on outings with good behavior once a month or more to playland, jewel lake, $1 movie day, H20(I will ask for help to pay for this), Or something of their choosing!
We are a family run childcare so if for any reason I need to step out my husband will be here or my 20 year old son. If for any reason we need to leave we will make sure we give you at least a months notice and most of the time have it covered with a ASD sub teacher. I have never called in sick in the 20 years I have been doing this.
I love my job that is why I am still doing it even though my youngest is 16.
I am a bit out of the way but I am in a really safe neighborhood! Kincaid is the neighborhood school. I take age 0-up. My hours are Mon- Fri 730-530(sharp)
I am working on getting my state license now, so that I can take day care assistance.
This summer I am going back to get my recert for my First-Aid and CPR.
