I've provided in home daycare for 8 years in Greenfield but am relocating to Oconomowoc! I'm a mother of three whose taken two groups of daycare children from 6-12 weeks all the way to 4k. I love what I do and can't wait to meet you and love your child.
I have a relaxed but scheduled day with circle times, dance, projects and outside play. We have weekly themes so we can learn about the world around us and fun holiday activities like our yearly 'Christmas nativity' where we dress up and learn about the Christmas story. We do two half hour periods of 'screen time' during the day for toddlers and preschoolers, one show before nap and one show near the end of the day if they choose, but no more. By the time my kiddos are ready for 4k they are beginning readers who know their letters, numbers, colors and shapes. I have a large inventory of toys that are rotated weekly to keep things fresh and interesting. I keep a parents-only blog about my daycare that is updated weekly with our theme and lays out what we will be doing that week. At the end of the week it is updated with pictures of the kids enjoying their week. I can provide lots of parents who you could contact as references and talk about their experience with their children!
