Walking & Wagging is designed to care for pets where they feel most comfortable, in their home. We offer pet sitting, dog walking, and basic dog grooming services in the Galleria area. If there are other services your pet needs don't hesitate ask.

Walking & Wagging is owned and operated by me, Ann-Kirby Burchett. I grew up with cats, dogs, and a horse and since childhood have helped care for my own pets as well as those of friends and neighbors while they were out of town. I studied International Business at Stetson University, where I found what I missed most from home was my beloved pets. In order to have more contact with animals I began volunteering at the DeLand Humane Society. My final semester in school I was blessed to live with a roommate where we'd regularly pet sit and rescue stray animals. Upon graduating from Stetson I packed up and moved to Houston, where I have worked in marketing and recruiting and have volunteered with pet fostering programs. My deep rooted love for animals and desire for a fun career that allows me to get out and be active lead me to start Walking & Wagging.
