About the business
Wags n Whiskers is family owned. We have grown up with pets in our homes and have been fostering stray animals for many years. Our pets have included dogs, cats, birds, fish, ferrets, rabbits, frogs, chameleons, and guinea pigs.
Currently, we pet family consists of Chico, a Chihuahua. He is 13 years old and loves to cuddle. He can always be found curled up on his pillow underneath a blanket. We also have Jake, a Black Lab, 2 years old. We found him in the country when he was about 4 1/2 months. Skinny, dirty with fly bitten ears we put him in the car and took him home. We didn't plan to keep him, but he seemed so sweet, full of life, and meant for us.
We stay current on the latest books, magazines, and articles on pet care, health, and training.
Over the years we have cared for animals with a range of medical problems such as:
allergies,
epilepsy,
lung diseases,
cancer, and
post surgical care.
