About Your Caregiver: Hi! I have lived in the Hill County area for over 18 years, and prior to that, I lived in the Dallas area. I have been in the legal profession for 22 years as a legal assistant/legal secretary. While in the legal community, I have made many friendships and treasure each one. Now, it is time for me to meet more friends - animals and their families. I have always had pets in my life. As a little girl, my first pet was a long-haired orange kitten named "Blue Ears" (he was named this because his ears were blue when the sun shone through them). In my early teens, my father took me to get a poodle, which we named "Cheater". Cheater would bring the newspaper in and rode on my bicycle with me. After I married, I had another orange cat we named "Alex". After moving to the Hill Country, I was introduced by an attorney/friend to Golden Retrievers. My first golden, was "Princess" - Princess will be 15-years-old in July 2010. A few years later, I brought home "Mattie" - Princess' cousin. Mattie passed away this year from cancer- she was 10 years old. Needless to say; there have been several sad days for Princess and I, however, now is our time together and we cherish every day.
